I was holding onto an idea but uncertain if I should. It was good to read that you begin with something familiar. I was actually thinking about how I would like to hold onto the notions of 'body, space, time and relation' from my past drawings but am not sure how they might fit in in a new context. I think they might fit well with what you have said but I need it all to grow organically.
I also see that my ideas are too abstract to get started on something - rocks really ground me - I like that idea as a beginning.
I will think more.
